Hello I am Rae McKinlay, She Who Spins Stories. I am blessed for I live in a place where the landscape sings with stories. Every tree, every lough, every stone has a story attached.

Age may be upon me but I love comics. Nothing gives me greatest pleasure than creating comic characters and placing them in a story.
I believe comics are an excellent way to promote literacy, to engage new audiences and to share information.
I can help you tell your story too.

Comics are a great medium to retell stories from people's history and folklore as a way to share these stories with new audiences. This encourages a sense of community pride. My interest is not only in nostalgia, but in helping communities reclaim those stories in the face of regeneration which can elbow our heritage stories out.
